Overview
The British Sign Language (BSL) Taster Course is a 6-week introductory program perfect for those curious about BSL. It provides a fun and engaging way to explore the basics of British Sign Language and gain insight into Deaf culture. This course is ideal for beginners who want to dip their toes into the language and learn essential signs for everyday communication.
Duration
6 weeks with one live session every week.
Accreditation
This is a non-accredited course, designed to introduce you to BSL and build your confidence to pursue further qualifications if desired. If you would like to get accredited, please have a look at BSL Level 1 course.
Teaching Method
Live and interactive Zoom sessions offering an enjoyable and flexible way to learn from the comfort of your home.
Target Audience
This course is open to anyone interested in learning BSL for personal growth, to support communication with Deaf friends, family, or colleagues, or simply as a new skill to explore.
