Wulfrunian Deaf Badminton Club
In February 2018, Zebra Access set up informal badminton sessions, which has seen a club, Wulfrunian Deaf Badminton Club, being established to represent the City of Wolverhampton. The club is now led by its Deaf and Hard of Hearing members with sessions being held:
WHERE: Wolverhampton Grammar School Ltd, Compton Road, Wolverhampton, WV3 9RB
WHEN: Mondays 7-9pm

Cost for a 2 hour session:
- First session - £2 and then
- Members - £5 per session
The sessions are for deaf/hard of hearing and hearing people who are local and interested in badminton, with the aim of getting everyone together to socialise, meet new people, have a chat and promote health and wellbeing at the same time.
Please note, it is important that you bring your own badminton racket, wear proper sports attire/trainers and bring a bottle of water.

With the support of funders such as the National Lottery's Community Fund, BFI, Foundations, Trusts and so on, Zebra Access CIO provides a range of free services and support to Deaf, Deafblind, Hard of Hearing and Deafened people and communities. Zebra Access staff, volunteers have the right to work in a safe and abuse free environment alongside with service users. The organisation will not tolerate any kind of abuse against its staff, volunteers, service users or property.
