There are many different ways you can volunteer for Zebra Access, and the time you give really does make a difference to Deaf and Hard of Hearing people and communities.

We really value all our volunteers and you can expect to receive training, have expenses covered and be part of an excellent team. So please share your skills, experience and enthusiasm with us today, and you’ll soon discover what a difference it can make to you too

Zebra Access offers various types of volunteering opportunities:

  • Be-friender scheme
  • Youth activities and events
  • Community events such as Coffee mornings, trips and so on
  • Supporting and running activities such as badminton, rambling, craft club and so on
  • Deaffest
  • And any other opportunities that may arise

Deaf Hub

What can we help you with?

As part of the Zebra Access' Reaching Communities 'Deaf Hub' project, with the support of the Big Lottery Fund, Advocacy drop-in Centres for deaf and hard of hearing people are now up and running to assist with a range of queries, complaints, form filling, and many more.
