National Space Centre Leicester!

Members of the deaf community took an exciting trip to The National Space Centre in Leicester, and it was an out-of-this-world experience! As soon as we arrived, we were greeted by the towering sight of the 42-metre Rocket Tower, which made quite the first impression. Once inside, we kicked things off with a visit to the Sir Patrick Moore Planetarium 🪐. The show was absolutely stunning – so visual and captivating! We were all in awe.

After the planetarium, we explored the galleries and exhibitions, which beautifully covered the story of space exploration from its early days to future possibilities. The centre is not just about history, though – it’s a science and discovery hub too, and we had a blast with the interactive displays, getting hands-on with space-themed fun.

We wrapped up our day with a nice lunch before heading back to Wolverhampton, feeling inspired and full of cosmic knowledge! ✨
