Wellbeing Walk at Bantock House

In September 2024, we enjoyed a wonderful wellbeing walk at Bantock House. The park around Bantock House provided an ideal setting, with lush greenery and early signs of autumn as the trees began to change color and a few leaves fell—a sure sign the season was turning. Our group, along with two furry friends, had a relaxing time exploring the area.

The men took pleasure in walking with their dogs, while the ladies enjoyed a leisurely stroll, catching up on life and sharing stories. At the end of the walk, we stopped by the charming café nearby, known for its delicious treats. Thankfully, the café welcomed pets, so our dogs could join us as we savored tea cakes, cups of tea, and a slice of cake for one of us.

We’re already looking forward to visiting Bantock House itself on our next trip. Our timing couldn’t have been better—as we finished our refreshments, rain had just started, making it the perfect conclusion to a lovely outing!

A big thanks to Heart of England Community Foundation, West Midlands Combined Authority and the Department for Culture, Media, and Sport for making this possible.
