Wave Project in Cornwall

Zebra Access Director, Marilyn Willrich supported the Wave Project in this year’s annual “Summer Surf Challenge” at Watergate Bay on 20th & 21st July 2019.

Marilyn co-ordinated two Deaf groups for a 2-day free surfing experience as part of the “Summer Surf Challenge” where a sign language interpreter was provided.

Many of the Deaf attendees, who hadn’t surfed before, said they enjoyed the experience and had an excellent time would like to come back again next year. All those who completed the challenge were awarded a medal for their efforts.
