Visiting Braidwood School for the Deaf: Careers Day

Deirdre, our Community Development Officer was invited to take part in Braidwood School for the Deaf’s first ever Careers day. 

The aim of the day was to highlight that ‘Deaf can do’ to inspire the students that they can do anything they want to be in the future and think about the paths they need to take to get there. 

Deirdre delivered a presentation about where her job journey has taken her and how she got her current job here with us at Zebra Access. 

She enjoyed meeting the young people and learning about what they wanted to do in the future.

Deirdre was delighted to be reunited with her former work colleague Sean! 

We would like to thank Braidwood School for the Deaf for inviting our Community Development Officer and making her feel very welcomed. 

We are just a bit jealous of her lovely new cup!
