Sign Health: Mental Health Workshop Part 1
Last Friday, we had Sign Health run a mental health workshop. Everyone involved shared their experience of mental health and helped raise awareness and learned what services are available to use.
"This was an informative session for us which was delivered by Sign Health's staff, Erika Levi - Community Engagement Officer. Some information was useful for the community to help raise awareness and knowledge, such as the BSL Health Access app. At this workshop we raised awareness and got a better understanding about Deaf mental health. Next week we have part 2 which will cover some more interesting topics. The community users were interested and very involved asking questions and learning something new. This new awareness could save their or someone's else lives. We are really pleased with the outcomes of today and are looking forward to seeing what Sign Health share with us next week. High recommended!" - Sean Noone, Community Development Officer
