Launch of Zebra Access' Drop-in Centre

As part of the Zebra Access' Reaching Communities 'Deaf Hub' project, with the support of the Big Lottery Fund, a Drop-in Centre for deaf and hard of hearing people is now up and running!

If you need support with;

-Making phone calls

-Filling in forms (such as JSA, ESA, Housing Benefit etc.)

-Translating letters

-Booking interpreters

-Making complaints

-Referral to services

-Advice/guidance

Then come along to the Drop-in Centre! Thanks to Wolverhampton City Council, the Drop-in Centre is held at the Wolverhampton Civic Centre, St Peters Square, Wolverhampton WV1 9SE on Wednesdays 1pm to 5pm.

There will be a screen in the entrance area of the Wolverhampton Civic Centre, which will feature the video above.

Services

With the support of funders such as the National Lottery's Community Fund, BFI, Foundations, Trusts and so on, Zebra Access CIO provides a range of free services and support to Deaf, Deafblind, Hard of Hearing and Deafened people and communities. Zebra Access staff, volunteers have the right to work in a safe and abuse free environment alongside with service users. The organisation will not tolerate any kind of abuse against its staff, volunteers, service users or property.
