Coffee Morning at Walsall Library- 'Scam' by Walsall Police

On the 18th of January, Walsall Police visited us at our coffee morning session. PC Jane and her colleague visited the deaf community to talk about scams as part of neighbourhood crime prevention. This is an important topic to discuss as scams impact everyone, especially as scammers now use modern technology and tactics to trick people. PC Jane shared many ways that scammers could trick us and tips on how to avoid being scammed.

PC Jane explained to us that it is very important to speak up about scams and to report them to the Police, as they can help the situation and prevent it from happening to other people.

If this happens to you, please report it to the Police, and remember that Zebra Access can help you with the process of reporting.

Thank you, Walsall Police, for teaching us how to report scams.
