BSL Rally 2022
Our colleague Paul who is Community Development Officer went to the BSL Rally at Parliament Square in London.
Here his experience...
"On 28th January 2022, I attended the BSL Rally in Parliament Square, London with the aim of lobbying for the BSL Bill. This was a well-supported event, and the energy was very high with Deaf people and our allies from all over the country joining the campaign. Eight Deaf organisations were represented lead by BDA. Deaf people were so proud to take to the street and shout about the needs of our community and demand that changes be made. The atmosphere was electric and full of emotion. We were pleased with the result that the Bill successfully passed the first stage and so the next stage was scheduled to take place on 18th March 2022. I am excited to see this campaign succeed."

With the support of funders such as the National Lottery's Community Fund, BFI, Foundations, Trusts and so on, Zebra Access CIO provides a range of free services and support to Deaf, Deafblind, Hard of Hearing and Deafened people and communities. Zebra Access staff, volunteers have the right to work in a safe and abuse free environment alongside with service users. The organisation will not tolerate any kind of abuse against its staff, volunteers, service users or property.
