Advocate achieves City & Guild certificate
Zebra Access is delighted to congraultate our Advocate Officer, Craig Pothecary, who passed his Level 3 City & Guild Certificate/Diploma in Independent Advocacy specialising in General/Community Advocacy last week. It is a fantastic acheivment considering that he completed the course under challenging conditions exbricated by the pandemic. This is no doubt a testment to his ability and dedication in delivering high quality advocate service to all Deaf, Deaf Blind and Hard of Hearing people.
Craig Pothecary said 'I decided to obtain an independent advocacy qualification specialising in General/Community Advocacy, with the aim of providing a high-quality advocacy service dedicated to Deaf, Deafblind and hard of hearing service users. I am pleased to have achieved such qualifications, especially whilst working under the current challenging circumstances surrounding COVID-19. I shall continue working remotely to provide these high-quality services where required.'
The course tutor Ruth Stanforth commented 'Carers Federation congratulates Craig Pothecary on successful completion of his Independent Advocacy Qualification. Craig has worked very hard to evidence his competence as an Independent Advocate and deserves to be recognised for his efforts to deliver high quality advocacy’

With the support of funders such as the National Lottery's Community Fund, BFI, Foundations, Trusts and so on, Zebra Access CIO provides a range of free services and support to Deaf, Deafblind, Hard of Hearing and Deafened people and communities. Zebra Access staff, volunteers have the right to work in a safe and abuse free environment alongside with service users.
