A special screening of 100 Years Heritage of the Walsall Deaf Community!

On Saturday 30th May, Zebra Access, Action Deafness, and the National Lottery Heritage Fund Project to welcomed the Deaf community in Walsall to the first preview screening of 100 Years of Heritage of the Walsall Deaf Community at the New Art Gallery Walsall.

It was an exciting, emotional, empowering, and memorable day. It was wonderful to reconnect with people who have been part of the Walsall Deaf Centre community for many years and to celebrate this important milestone together.

Check out our highlight of the day.

We would like to say a special thank you to everyone who was involved in the project from start to finish. Thank you to Action Deafness for their incredible support throughout the journey, and to the National Lottery Heritage Fund Project for making it possible for us to develop this film.

The film will be available online soon, so keep an eye out for updates!

Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the day so special.
